Things you must note before buying Laptop

There are several things we should keep in mind while buying a laptop. You might have seen people regret about what they
have bought believing in the words of sales persons
So these are certain things one needs to observe

  1. RAM and Storage:
Ram would be the First thing anyone would probably ask about while buying a lappy .Generally we see 4 GB ram in most low cost laptops , but it is always preferable to take one with a minimum of 8 GB's of RAM

The next thing is the Permanent storage device, it is common to buy a laptop with a hard disk of  1 TB
and there is no chance of getting fooled around in this matter.

2.Processor :

Many are aware of these processors but the thing you need to know
is the generation of  these processors currently 7th gen processors are the latest ,we need be aware of this as 6th gen processor may vary some thousands of rupees in cost and will be a bit slow compared to the latest ones

We should also be aware that a i5 7th gen would be better than a i5 6th gen processor .
Core i7 systems are for those who want the best performance out of their laptop. However note that with a core i7 based system the heat coming through base of laptop maybe a cause for concern.
So just don't blindly run after numbers

3.Operating system: (DOS or Genuine)

We should notice/ask if the laptop is comes with a pre-installed OS
else with DOS.DOS means Disk Operating System it means that the laptop comes without any pre-installed operating system and should only purchase if we have copy of the required operating system.Generally these DOS laptops will be given after installing a pirated copy of the operating system.
So if you want buy a comparatively cheaper laptop then prefer a DOS laptop else the one with genuine OS is recommended.

4.Graphic card:

There are 2 types of graphic cards
 1.On board
2.Dedicated
Dedicated graphics refers to having a separate graphics card while On board (also called integrated or shared) graphics means using your system RAM and CPU for graphics processing
The difference is fairly large  dedicated graphics lets you use significantly more robust graphics processing units (GPU) along with an amount of RAM that is reserved for use by the GPU.
Using a dedicated graphic card frees up system resources that would other wise be allocated for the video processing in systems that offer shared graphics.
So before buying make sure what kind of graphics card are you buying generally a dedicated card is preferred for gaming and multimedia applications ,in case of only normal use integrated or on board graphics would be enough.

5.Size:

If portability is your main concern, then you need to consider a notebook that has a small screen and light weight. Any laptop marketed as ultra notebook should fit your bill here,as they are designed to be slim and light, more to the point look for a laptop with screen sizes ranging 12.5-13.3 inches in size.
Mostly we see laptops of the size 15.6 inches in regular use.
